The co-pastors Fr. Carmen D'Amico and Fr. Thomas Sparacino, principal Sr. Margery Kundar and an assistant principal Sr. Jean Uzupis govern the school.  The school also has a school advisory council made up of the pastor, school administrators, a teacher representative and parents.

St. Benedict the Moor School follows the policies and procedures established by the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  The co-pastors, principal and assistant principal work together with the faculty, staff, students and parents to ensure these policies are carried out.  In addition, St. Benedict the Moor School has in place a Student Handbook, which states the specific policies and procedures of the school.  The handbook is updated yearly by the administration, faculty and pastor.
