Prior to the beginning of each school year the faculty and administrators meet to evaluate the success of the previous years goals and to set new goals for the upcoming school year. As the goals of the past several years were evaluated, we recognized growth in areas that are our strengths. We also recognized advancement in goals we felt needed to be improved.
Faith Formation
- We will continue our curriculum that includes the teachings of the Catholic faith, liturgies, daily prayer, prayer services, plays and music programs of religious and cultural importance.
- Students will be introduced to world religions, which will foster understanding and acceptance of others beliefs and faiths.
Academic Excellence

- Computer literacy for faculty and administration is being achieved through college courses, workshops, and in-service programs.
- Teachers were trained in using and incorporating technology into the curriculum. In addition, two members of the staff became certified in Instructional Technology.
- Each classroom is equipped with at least 2 computers and the Success Maker Program is utilized in grades 1-4 for reading and math. A smart board is also available on both floors.
- We have a computer lab that is equipped with 26 computers, Internet and a LCD projector.
Community Service
- Many successful programs that teach our students to give back to the community are ongoing, such as writing letters to shut-ins, volunteering at the Jubilee Soup Kitchen, and Stash and Trash.
- Administrators determine areas of need in and for the community. Programs are continually being added that foster growth both in our students and in the community.
- The "Career Awareness" program enriches and broadens students' awareness of a variety of professions as African American professionals share their careers with our students.
